Ateneo de Manila to Webcast Graduation
The Ateneo de Manila University, together with Mozcom, is set to webcast the graduation ceremonies this year. Since, each graduate is only allow four (4) guests to attend the actual ceremony, there are a lot of potential guests who are left out. At least, when the names of a hundred or so strangers are being called, you can do something else
Having a plain one-way webcast graduation ceremony maybe one of the first in the country. But, it has been done by a number of other schools in other countries already.
What would really be neat would be to allow participants to participate in the graduation online! Wouldn’t it be nice to have an online program and being able to participate in the graduation ceremonies online too? I could imagine it now. Some online MA Journalism student sitting in a cybercafe in Sri Lanka participanting in the ceremonies. Now that is neat!
