6th Philippine Computing Science Congress

The 6th Philippine Computing Science Congress will be hosted by the Ateneo de Manila University. This year’s theme is “Towards International Collaboration in Computing Research and Development”. The call for participation is as follows:

The Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP) invites you to participate in the 6th Philippine Computing Science Congress (PCSC 2006). The CSP organizes this conference to enable Filipino educators, researchers, and ICT professionals and students to interact and to share their work in computing, computer science, computer engineering, computational science, and information and communications technology (ICT).

The conference features special lectures by prominent researchers and educators in the field of information and communications technology (including computing, computer science, computer engineering, computational science, and related disciplines). It also features contributed research papers on computing and ICT.

PCSC 2006 will be held on March 28-29, 2006 at the Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City, Philippines.

Some of the notables of this year’s conference will be Steven Willmott, PhD (Research Scientist at Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Spain). Eduardo Mendoza, PhD (Senior Research Scientist, Ludwig-Maximilian Universitat Munchen, Germany) and Rafael SaldaƱa, PhD (Member, Senate Technical Working Group on the Automation of the Philippine Electoral System). The conference fees are PhP 2,300.00. However, there are discounted rates of PhP 1,500.00 (non-member presentors) and PhP 1,000.00 (currently enrolled students).
