40% of Indian Mobile Phones Have Virii!
Well, not the computer-type of virus but the biological one. In a Times of India Article, it is quoted that:
Of the 30 samples collected from mobile phones and the hands of healthcare professionasl, 12 samples from the former (40 per cent) and 12 from the latter (40 per cent) showed growth of Staphylococco aureus (a type of bacteria).
In a MobileCrunch article, it even proposed that its April Fool’s product (Rentokil Mobile) be released to combat this type of infection! I wonder if they did this study in the Philippines what would the results be? Maybe some graduate student would like to do this study?
