I hope it is a bit friendlier to install and use now. Although, OpenSolaris might not be intended for desktop use. It sure would be good if it were to gain a bit of mindshare from end users. Btw, I use the OpenSolaris to troubleshoot certain Solaris 9 and 10 bugs that pop out of the blue. I get the error message and browse the OpenSolaris source code for answers. It also uses the latest version of Xorg, which supports a myriad of high end graphics adaptors.
