What is this strange world up to?
I decided to take a break from writing long blogs and have decided to post my very first link roll. There are a bunch of interesting links on my reader that I felt the need to post them all. First off, is our list of companies doing things they don’t normally do.
- Microsoft Hands Out 16000 SUSE Linux Subscriptions. Microsoft selling Linux support?
- VeriSign to bow online movie service. Digital certificate authority and domain provider selling online movies?
- Amazon’s Unbox to offer independent films. Online retailer making independent movies and films?
Next is new and really interesting gadgets and services.
- Would you buy an Apple iPhone if it looks like this?. No buttons? Interesting concept. Can’t wait to try out its usability.
- Vertu’s Signature Cobra claims “world’s ugliest phone” throne. Why would I want to put snakes on my phone?
- Phone or yo-yo? ModeLabs unveils new concepts. A yo-yo? I thought I bought a mobile phone?
- International airline to allow cell phone chatter on planes. Finally, an airline that provides cheap mobile phone usage. Well … not very cheap. But, its good enough.
Finally, here is one like about stating the obvious to users.
- Microsoft fights Gmail in the workplace. Microsoft Exchange 2007 with 2GB of email in the corporate environment… Ummm… What is new? A lot of companies have unlimited mailbox sizes in their old Microsoft Exchange (and other corporate email) servers.
Have a nice day!
