Barry, the Blackberry Sync Tool, Built for Fedora 9

The project called Barry is pretty vital to me as a BB user. Unfortunately, it does not have Fedora 9 binaries yet and does not build nicely too. So, I took the liberty of building them.

Here they are for download:

And the source RPM can be found here:

And here is the patch that makes it build for Fedora 9 if you get ‘memset’, ’sort’, ’strlen’ not found errors.

Hope this helps someone.

src.rpm link seems to be broken, however, i had grabbed a patch, and it works fine! thanks a lot!

Thank you! I just upgraded to Fedora 9, from 6, and was a bit frustrated by trying to get barry-sync setup. I was just about to give up and do a complete build, myself, but the build dependencies required the installation of over 50 RPMs.

Thanks a lot for your work!

P.S. correct link to src rpm is:
    http://cng.ateneo.edu/cng/wyu/software/srpm/barry-0.12-2.src.rpm
    instead of
    http://cng.ateneo.edu/cng/wyu/software/rpm/barry-0.12-2.src.rpm
